a little bit about me
My first exhibition of black & white fine art photography took place in 2002, in Nottingham, UK, and I continued to regularly exhibit my photography in local galleries up until 2007.
In 2007 I moved to France for a bit of a continental adventure and have been here ever since. Since moving to France I have held solo exhibitions in Limoges, Rancon, Riberac, Chalais and Le Dorat up until around 2009.
From 2009 my wedding photography work in the beautiful South West of France didn't leave me with much time left for my art photography. I have covered over 400 weddings from Paris to Provence. During this time I was fortunate enough to receive international awards through professional bodies such as the WPJA (Wedding PhotoJournalist Association), Fearless Photographers and the ISPWP (International Society of Wedding Photographers) for my documentary wedding photography.
After retiring from my wedding photography business in 2024 I have returned to my original passion of fine art photography. Creating photography as wall art is something that has always fulfilled me. It's the creative process that I love most but the whole chain of events from image conception, looking for the shot, creating the image, editing, printing, framing and exhibiting I find so rewarding. I missed this and so I have now returned to my first passion in photography, creating images to display on walls. I hope you enjoy looking around the galleries here online and maybe find something that you would love to see on a wall space of your own.
